Manaslu Circuit teahouse trekking

Manaslu is geographically based in the western part of Nepal. Mt. Manaslu, at [8163m] is the eight highest peaks in the world which opened its trails for trekking only in 1992. This mountain is conveniently located near to the border of Nepal alongside Tibet. Despite its remote location & the difficult trails on this trek; & the sweat & the weary limbs that come on the way, the rewards you experience on the wacky trails with the stunning scenery & the intriguing culture of the local inhabitants of this region that virtually live in a world long forgotten by the present materialistic & ornamental planet that we live in today makes this venture a story-book bottom-line for the intrepid trekker. The name 'Manaslu' virtually means "The spirit-mountain"; the local jargon refers it to be the sympathetic and strong deity that mysteriously dwells within its domain; but yet this mountain peak has claimed the lives of several climbers who dared to reach its summit…& offers unparallel beauty that is close to heavenly bliss. The Manaslu trek is the optional choice for veteran trekkers looking for a physically challenging outing in the wild as it involves trekking through some of the toughest trails in the Himalayan region. However, the natural little trodden landscapes are a literal feast for those who keep a special place for nature in the heart…& believe there's a God who shows his love in ways that are as mysterious as these colossal mountains.
You will also find time to interact with the local folks & understand through your guide who will interpret for you as to why these folks prefer to live by traditions that go back to times as old as the sunshine that kisses our bodies & gives us special warmth on these chilly snowing silver grey mountains. Most of the locals in this region are the direct descendants of Tibetan immigrants and this majestic & scenic region with Larkya La in focus is one of the most remarkable passes of the Himalayan region. This trek is pure adventure at its zenith. You will remember it for a real long, long time.
Our trek Begins from the historic centre of Gorkha after a 6-7 hrs lovely drive through beautiful rural countryside from Kathmandu. The trail heads up the valley of the Buri Gandaki River through wild and unexplored country inhabited mainly by members of the Gurung ethnic community. The trail traverses the interesting Manaslu peak [8156m.] crossing Larkya pass at 5100 meters and finally breaks out onto the Marshyangdi river valley along a route that hits the Annapurna circuit; this evidently gives you some wonderful options on where to conclude your trek.
The first option is we trek further to Jomsom at Kali Gandaki river valley crossing which is another high and grueling hike through Thorung la pass at 5416 meter and conclude the trek by flying down to Kathmandu via Pokhara, or you can also skip the flight & save some money by doing a great hike down to Pokhara from Jomsom following the Annapurna trail in 4-5 Days. Along the way your bonus will be some lovely feed for your cameras of the Annapurna Massifs and Dhaulagiri peaks. They are so wonderful to view, especially in the autumn.
The second option is we continue descending along the Marshyangdi river valley through rhododendron & oak forests and finally conclude the trek at Besi Sahar and Drive to Kathmandu.
You should be pretty fit to truly enjoy this trip anytime from March to May [in spring] and September to November [in autumn]. This is a camping venture out in the remote wilderness…
